The Process:
When to Book Your Maternity Session
I recommend booking your maternity session during your second trimester, around 15-20 weeks, to ensure availability. Ideally, you’ll want to take your maternity portraits between 30-35 weeks. Some ladies — especially if it’s your first — don’t develop a full bump until the third trimester. Your body is doing an amazing thing! So, let’s show off that gorgeous pregnancy glow. I know it’s hard to wait until the third trimester, but you’ll be glad you did.
If you would like to schedule your session before or after that time frame due to circumstances, just let me know! I’m happy to accommodate.
What to Wear
You’re excited about your upcoming maternity session…but maybe not so enthusiastic about trying to dress the bump. I’ve got you covered (pardon the pun). You deserve to feel like the goddess you are. If you don’t already have something in mind to wear for your maternity session, you can choose from over 60 beautiful designer gowns for everybody, bump, and style. You’re sure to find something you love in my maternity closet. Not only are they gorgeous, but they’re comfortable and flattering, too. I also have matching accessories, such as headpieces, floral crowns, couture belts, and more.
Hair and Makeup
Treat yourself! I partner with two fabulous hair and makeup artists to help you feel gorgeous (one travels, and one has a local studio, depending on your needs and session location). All you have to do is sit back and relax.
Who Can Attend the Session?
It’s completely up to you and your vision for your portraits. Take the day off for a glamour shoot and a luxurious milk bath. Or, some expecting couples opt for intimate maternity sessions together. You can also bring the whole family and take some precious photos with the soon-to-be older sibling(s). Just let me know your vision during your consultation, and we’ll make it happen.

What to Expect During Your Session
My goal is to make your session as easy and as fun as possible. All you have to do is show up, and I’ll guide you through the rest. Every expecting mother is different. During your personalized session, I’ll help you select the most fitting gown, location, and poses for you and your vision. I guarantee you’ll feel pampered, confident, and empowered from beginning to end.
Receiving Your Images
The editing process usually takes about two weeks to complete. Once they’re ready, you’ll select the images and products you would like, such as digital images, custom albums, and professional wall art.
