As a family and child photographer, I care deeply about family connections and delivering incredible experiences through my work. I’ve offered different types of holiday photo sessions for families over the years, but last year, with the pandemic, I wanted to do something extra special.
I knew it needed to be a safe, private environment for families. But during covid, when so many things were cut short or simplified, my team and I wanted to go even bigger! These kids and their families deserved something extra magical! So, we designed the Santa Experience. It was more amazing than any of us could have imagined. And each year since, the kiddos, their families, and the priceless reactions keep taking the experience over the top, and we are more than ready to do it all over again in 2023.
There’s a reason it’s not called “Holiday Minis” or “Photos with Santa.” While you will get wonderful photos from the session, this experience is unlike anything I’ve ever seen offered anywhere else. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Your child (or kiddos) will be so wrapped up in the wonder of it all that they may not even know I’m photographing them—which means beautiful candid portraits for you!

This is no ordinary holiday photo session. I tear up every single time when I see the complete joy, wonder, and excitement on little ones’ faces. In that first awestruck moment when they meet Santa, I’m reminded of my own childhood. And in today’s busy world, it’s so nice to get back to simplicity. It’s truly inspiring to see the magic in these kids’ eyes. After last year’s success, I’m already counting down the days to my 2023 sessions–and it is only July!
So, before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season kicks into gear, I encourage you to make a point now—even in the middle of summer—to book, plan, or make space for a family experience. Make time to simply be together and embrace the spirit of the season. I guarantee you won’t regret it, and you’ll have memories—and photos—that last a lifetime!
The Santa Experience involves a private 20-25-minute session where your child can meet and spend time with Santa, with a possible Mrs. Claus appearance, too. Santa will even know your child’s name, which of course always amazes them – something they will never forget for the rest of their lives, I assure you!
Your personalized Santa Experience includes:
- A 10-minute family photo session.
- 10-15 minutes (and photos) with Santa.
- A personalized gift experience with Santa. (Parents purchase and wrap the gift, then send it to us in the mail. Santa will have it ready to go, along with memorizing your child’s name, when your child arrives.)
- Special gift from Dazzling Diva Photography.
- Access to our INCREDIBLE client closet. (Little girls especially love to pick out a gorgeous Dazzling Diva dress for the special occasion—it’s not every day you get to meet Santa!).

Because it’s such a phenomenal, sought after, personalized package, there is limited space and availability in order to fully accommodate participating families. Most booked at the end of 2022, so, as of now, there is a waiting list.
