fall family activities the woodlands, Houston

Sorry summer, but fall has my heart. Each year toward the end of August—when it’s still blazing hot—I look longingly toward fall. I can’t wait for the leaves to turn, the heat to subside, fun family activities to begin, and of course, my fall and seasonal mini photography sessions! Thankfully, there are plenty of fall family activities to enjoy around The Woodlands and Greater Houston.

(I don’t have any fall sessions available, but I do have a handful of spots for holiday mini sessions. Visit my Booking Calendar to see all available dates and times. You can also reserve your spot.)

If you love fall as much as I do, you’re probably looking for a few ways to get the whole family in the fall spirit, too. So, I’ve collected a few farms, festivals, events, and activities for you to try out this year. Some are for the younger crowd, and others are for the older kiddos (like the scary Halloween and TreeVenture events). I also threw in a few fun and relaxing ways to get out and enjoy the less-sultry weather.
